The Lytvyn.AI.Foundation was established by Ukrainian IT entrepreneur and philanthropist Volodymyr Lytvyn.
Lytvyn built the Foundation around the idea that access to opportunities should not depend on connections, university background, country, or professional network. That is why the Foundation creates open, competitive platforms where teams can be seen at work and evaluated on the products they build.
For Volodymyr Lytvyn, this is also an opportunity to identify promising teams for investment and long-term collaboration.

In 2026, the Foundation is launching a series of events across three European tech hubs.

AI Summit Barcelona
The founder of the Lytvyn.AI.Foundation, Volodymyr Lytvyn, joined the jury for the startup pitch session at AI Summit Barcelona, a major international event bringing together AI entrepreneurs, investors, developers, and representatives of technology companies at World Trade Center Barcelona on 22–23 September.
Participation in international AI events provides an opportunity to meet promising tech teams and evaluate projects directly during their presentations.

Participants will receive the challenge at the start and spend two days building working AI products. By the end, teams must present a finished product that works in a mobile browser and launches within 60 seconds.

Hackathon by Lytvyn.AI.Foundation with Kickstart
London will be the next stop in the Lytvyn.AI.Foundation’s season. The Foundation is bringing the core principle of its events to a new city: open access and a competitive format. The event will be held together with partner Kickstart.

The Lytvyn.AI.Foundation works with pre-seed and seed-stage projects regardless of country. A team can participate in a hackathon, present its product at an event where representatives of the Foundation serve on the jury, or reach out directly.

An open system instead of a closed circle

Open entry
Anyone can participate in the events. Referrals, professional connections, and university credentials provide no advantage.

Work decides
Where the format allows, results are determined through tests and criteria published in advance.

Teams own what they build
Everything created during the events remains the property of the participants. The Foundation takes no equity, licence, or option simply for participating.

Free to attend
Entry, workspace, food, and compute are covered by the Foundation. There is no paid tier offering additional advantages.

Investment is separate
Winning a hackathon does not automatically mean investment, and investment is not a condition of participation.

Public results
After every round, the Foundation publishes the criteria and results.
